If your model chrome is scratched or bare where it was separated from the plastic tree. this pen can be sued to touch it up and can be used for thin chrome edges that need to be painted.<br>This is the closest thing to chrome you will ever find and equal to foil color. Foil is very difficult to use and expensive sometimes more than one sheet per model. Also very frustrating, thin hard to apply and very time consuming, tears and wrinkles and fragile to the touch.<br>This chrome pen flows great and is easy to use, you can over the same edge many times to thicken it up. great control fast and easy to use.<br>This pen has chrome paint in it and it has a round point tip so you can do a very fine line or a thick one all with the same tip. The tip should be taken out and cleaned in thinner after you use it so it can be used over and over again.<br>This paint pen tip can be cut with a knife or scissors to desired shape and with coarse sand paper sanded fine tuned into any shape.<br>If you mess up with your painting or get paint on something you did not want - wax and grease remover (pre-clean solvent) will remove it when it is still fresh with in a few days. The pre-clean will not hurt most chrome or painted items -BUT TEST FIRST.<br>This is a very fine paint that flows great  and does not dry too fast so you can go over the same spot to smooth it out or blend in a light area.
