HP 8640B OPT 323 RF Signal Generator - AN/USM 323 Ruggedized military version of the well regarded HP 8640B RF Signal Generator. Output range is 500 kHz to 512 MHz. Sold "for parts or not working" as I am unable to test all functions. This produces output on all frequency bands as shown in the several photos (verified only with the frequency counter). Frequency accuracy fell generally within about 0.0025% of the counter (which is uncalibrated but trusted). The attenuator seems to work based on very limited observation. The meter seems to work properly. The modulation functions are untested except that I was able to hear 400 Hz and 1 kHz tones on an FM radio with audio volume increasing with the "Peak FM Deviation" switch setting. The modulation "MODE" control knob has worn markings and is only partially readable. The frequency counter is not included.
